About Me & CMDP 1400

Originally I signed up for this class because I had just transferred into the CMDP major. Then, I decided to change majors again and dropped the class at the last minute to go back to my Media Studies roots. Then, I didn't get into the last journalism class to complete my minor and needed a class to pick up. This is how I ended up in this class. My many changes in a short period of time that eventually led me back into this introductory media production class are ones that I am grateful for. If I hadn't, I wouldn't feel as confident about my academic path, or in turn, have as much experience within different CMCI departments. After completing the semester in this class, I'm taking away a variety of different types of production experiences and project that I'm very excited to have be apart of my portfolio. I learned more about creative storytelling within video production than I knew previously, and also got to put some ideas into practice that I wouldn't have before.

This class also has helped me walk away with the understanding that I want to learn about classic film production as a medium, rather than experimental film. This is something I hadn't considered before am a grateful to know now in my academic career.
